This is an history of the Galesburg HS all-time leading scorers. I am starting in 1956 with the boys, and 1980 with the girls. It is a chronological order of who held the record for most points in a career.

It should be noted:
1- GHS was a three-year high school until the mid-1980's, so before then no players could play four years.
2- The number of games that schools can play during a season has increased throughout time.
3- Players whose teams lost in the Regionals vs. players whose teams advanced to State- played less game.
Could we see a list of all time rebound leaders and not just the leader
ReplyDeleteI would love to give more complete list of stats in many categories for boys basketball, but I am just sharing the stats that were kept. Unfortunately with changes in coaches, it appears some stats were lost or not kept. Sorry that don’t have a list of rebounders.
