1956 Silver Streaks- Sweet Sixteen
Coach John Thiel’s first season coaching the Silver Streaks. Galesburg was led by Mike Owens and Bill Graning. They lost in one of the most famous games in Illinois history- double overtime to eventual State Champs- Rockford West.
Tuesday- 60 Years Ago
1966 Silver Streaks- 2nd in State
Dale Kelley led the Streaks to Second in State. There will be all the boxscores and articles from the State run.

Thursday- 50 Years Ago
1976 Silver Streaks- Elite 8
The Streaks under Coach Mike Owens were led to the Elite 8 by Mike Campbell and Scott Kelley. The run included the huge upset of the Richwoods Knights, who were #1 in State. There will be all the boxscores and articles from the Streaks run to State.
Friday- 30 Years Ago
1996 Silver Streaks- 3rd in State
The Galesburg girls brought home their first State trophy. The Streaks were led by Molly Watson, Sara Wood, Ami Pendry, Jennifer Bulkeley, and Jess Thompson. This will look back at the entire ‘96 season and run to State.
