This week’s AP Rankings were done by 10-11 voters in each of the four boys classes. In girls, 7 voters ranked 2A, while the other three classes were ranked by ONLY 4 voters.
In boys ranking, our area is most represented in 3A- #8-E.Peoria, #9 Morton, #10 Metamora, #12 Peoria, #16 Morton. All of these schools will be in the same Regional/Sectional with Galesburg.
Four schools from Mid-Illini are ranked. All three Peoria public schools are ranked in boys basketball- Manual in 2A, Peoria in 3A, and Richwoods in 4A.
In 3A from our area- #1 Morton, #2 Washington, #3 Galesburg, #7 Dixon, #8 Peoria ND. The top three spots did not change after last week.
