I remember these days so vividly. Very well written, Coach! So enjoyable...
ReplyDeleteThis team — particularly Mike Campbell and Scott Kelley — were my heroes growing up. They were larger than life in my eyes, both literally and figuratively. I was fortunate enough to be able to watch all the home games that year, including the greatest game ever played at Thiel Gym - the regional upset win over No. 1 Peoria Richwoods. This is an amazing look not only at that game, but what led up to it. Honestly, it's like an ESPN 30 for 30 documentary.
