Sideline OB’s should be treated just like ATO’s, it is a chance to run a set play. This is a simple design to try to set up a backdoor cut.
Diagram #1- #3 comes up off a stagger to get the inbounds pass.
Diagram #3- #3 dribble handoffs to #1. When the ball is inbounded, #2 is going to run baseline. #1 dribbles off a double screen. When #1 gets the ball over to the opposite wing, #2 plants and goes backdoor.
Note- Off the double screen, you can run actions with the post screeners. For example, you could have #5 run a fade screen for #4 to go for a shot.
