Coaches’ Corner: Zoom for Pt Guard with Stagger

 

This is a Zoom action for the point guard, so you have the best ball handler coming off the Zoom to make the reads. AND coming behind the Zoom action there is a stagger coming up. 

Diagram #1- Off horns set, the point guard enters the ball and goes off the other post to the basket. 

Diagram #2- #1 comes off the stagger of #3 and #5 to the DHO with #4. 

Diagram #3- After #1 comes off #3’s screen, #3 starts to the basket then turns and comes up the stagger of #5 and #4.
