Legendary Williamsfield coach, Bob Anderson shares one of his favorite three point plays.
Diagram #1- #1 passes to #5 and goes off #4’s backscreen. If you don’t need a three, #1 may be open curling to the basket.
Diagram #2- #1 stops and goes out to set a screen that allows #2 to make a shuffle cut to the basket.
Diagram #3- Now there is a screen the screener action for #1 to pop out for a three.
Diagram #4- If #1 does not have an open three, #5 and #3 are going down to set up #2 coming up off of a stagger. If you don’t need a three, #2 will have to be defended on the shuffle cut, then on a stagger.
