1956 Streaks- How Good Were They?
Outstanding review of the 55 & 56 State Tournament. I was a starter on the West Rockford team in 1955 and watched the 56 team win it in 1956. Hard to beat the days in Huff gym. Can you recall when we scored 6 points in one second in our final game against Elgin?
ReplyDeleteYes. Nolden Gentry was fouled on a shot and shot a free throw. Then stole an inbounds, scored and was fouled.
