Coaches’ Corner- Zoom Action with Fade

 

This set is creating a zoom action for a guard, but the real play is a fade after the handoff. 

Figure 1- #5 screens to bring #2 to the ball.

Figure 2- #1 dribbles at the action to handoff to #2.

Figure 3- After handing off, #1 will fade off #5’s screen. #5 can slip the screen to the basket.
