Coaches’ Corner- Ghosting Backscreen

We see lots of ghost screens on ball screens, this set involves ghosting a backscreen. 

Figure 1- #1 passes to a wing and follows the ball to the corner.

Figure 2- The ball is reversed thru #3 to #5 on the opposite wing. 

Figure 3- #2 sets up the angle to start a backscreen for #3, but is going to ghost it and go for handoff. The confusion often will result in the open lob to #3 or the zoom handoff to #2.
