When we go vs. switching man to man defenses, we are always looking for ways to slip screens or run ghost screens. Usually if we are going to slip a screen, it is off of a ball screen. This is a different way to slip a screen.
The initial action is a screen to send #5 into the post, and have #3 pop to get the ball just off the elbow.
In the second diagram, #4 is going to set a flare screen for #2. If they are switching, #4’s defender may be slow to get out to cover #2. The option that is being looked for is to have #4 slip the screen and go to the basket.
