Legendary Williamsfield coach, Bob Anderson shares three of his favorite baseline out of bounds plays.
Play #1- The Ball is inbounded and reversed. #1 steps in after inbounding the ball. #1 can read defense and go off a single or double screen either way.
Play #2- This play involves a screen the screener action. After inbounding the ball, #4 curls into the lane off of #2’s screen. #5 screens in for #2 to pop to the corner. Even if nobody is open, with the screening action, the defense may have switched and #5 will be posted up with a mismatch.
Play #3- The posts go up to screen for the guards to go to each corner. After screening, #5 cuts hard toward the ball. #4 will cut right off #5 going to the weakside block.
