Galesburg Tourney Observations

Alleman and Springfield have emerged after week #1 as the leaders in the tourney. It is no surprise Springfield would be in that position but it is impressive for Alleman considering their two best players are out with torn ACL's. It is a tribute to the depth of Alleman. They will play next week at 6:00pm at Knoxville.

After losing to Galesburg and Springfield, East Peoria bounced back with two solid wins over Decatur and LeRoy. EP has certainly turned eyes with the quality of the young players on their roster.

It is clear many of the teams are working to develop consistency. It is good to see as many competitive games as there have been.
