Why So Negative?

At our league on Thursday, we had our usual variety of t-shirts for sale. League shirts, old camp shirts, Savanna basketball shirts, and some "system" shirts.

It was interesting a star player from another school was looking at the "system" shirts, and then proceeded to make sarcastic, negative comments about the "system."



I wonder why the style of the "system", whether Loyola or Grinnell, draws so much concern from opponents. To my knowledge no one is planning to force other schools to play that style. Often times hate can be fueled by jealousy or fear.

Thank goodness we don't need approval from our opponents to play the style we want to play!
