Loss At Rocky

Rocky's aggressive, physical defense dominated us in the first 4 minutes of the game. We came back to make it close by the end of the first quarter. We were down 5 with 10 seconds to go in the half, and we were shooting a free throw. Ten seconds later we went into the lockeroom down 10, we allowed 5 points in the last 10 seconds.

Fortunately we had a good second half. We came back to tie the game early in the fourth quarter. We went down again, only to battle back to a 63-60 deficit. We did not score from that point to lose 69-60.



We again played a good defensive game, we forced 34 turnovers for the game. And despite their height advantage, we had 6 more shots then in the game. Myra Diggins had 4 steals, 4 offensive rebounds, and knocked down 2 threes for the game.

From the arc, we got additional threes-  Jessica Lieber (4), Allison Mangieri (1), Emma Junk (1), and Sharron Diggins (1).

Sadee Hamilton sat out most of the 2nd and 4th quarters with foul trouble. A huge problem for the Streaks was going 7 for 19 from the line.

The Streaks bounce back in action at Normal West on Saturday. Normal West lost tonight 55-50 to Decatur Eisenhower 55-50.
